Andrew Ahearne and...@news.microsoft.com microsoft public speech_tech sdk Robbie, Vista 5308 only supports the FEB CTP of WinFX. It sounds like this could be the cause of the problem. You do not need to download it either as you can find it in Add/Remove Windows Components.

If you want to install the February CTP, use a VHD which has already been partitioned. There are many ways you could accomplish this. For example, if you have an existing VHD containing XP, you could copy it (reformat for a clean Vista install). You could boot into XP Setup and just stop it after it has partitioned

IE7 and Protected Store in 64-bit Vista
ZwSetInformationProcess returns a misterious STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED. the same code worked on Vista up to the February CTP and hence it looks like Microsoft has restricted token manipulation even further ... Has anybody managed to get ZwSetInformationProcess to work under beta 2? cheers, Marco.

Translation: Intel's drivers are currently for the BETA of Vista, not the release version! In a few months, you might want to check back and see if there's an updated version, that might actually fix the problem. Worse, the February they mentioned was Feb 22, 2006! (ctp=Community Technology Preview [public beta])
